Tissue Embedding Center & Cooling Plate

A modular unit with separate cold storage unit. An integrated Para Trimmer with improved profile for optimum wax flow from surface. Cold plate temperature control adjustable and between -12C to 3C (tolerance +/- 1C). It long & short nozzle design. A higher temperature mould storage area 60C to prevent moulds sticking together. Automated Stainer

The Unit has fully functional color touch screen integrated into the main body. The software support multiple languages with easy switch between languages. The Unit has battery back-up to continue staining for approximately 40 minutes in the event of a power failure. The unit has an integrated USB port to allow the user to save protocols, instrument setup, and QC files for printing and/or back-up. The control software is capable of storing up to 50 programs in memory. The unit has the option of on-board heating stations. Heated models have 5 independently heated oven stations. The unit has the option to connect exhaust extraction to protect from venting fumes into the laboratory. The unit has built-in lighting to allow the user a high clarity view of the staining area. ROTARY SENIOR MICROTOME

Rotary Senior Microtome (Spencer 820 type):most modern and reliable sectioning equipment designed for very precise sectioning of tissues upto 1 micron thickness. The feed indicator, located in front of microtome is operated by the latest 'CAM DRIVE SYSTEM™ for accurate feed setting from 1-50 microns in steps of one micron. It is graduated in microns, is conveniently located in the front for instant references and its setting is controlled by a knurled knob at the back of the microtomes. The interior mechanism rests on a heavy cast iron base and is covered with a full swing protective cover for easier cleaning and lubrication. The Salient features include independent feed mechanism with automatic safety device, universal knife holder with lateral movements permitting use of the entire knife edge, universal vice type object holder for accurate centering of the specimen.
