AXIAL TURBINE TRAINER 

As shown in the figure the unit is mounted on movable sturdy stand with table top mountings and close circuit water tank.

Water is deflected and accelerated while flowing through stator generation of kinetic and pressure energy while heating of water to the blades and rotor rotates. Decrease of water pressure gradually from inlet to outlet.

Until comprises of axial turbine, centrifugal pump and water tank with water circuit.

Unit provides basic experiment to understand operations and axial turbine characteristics.

The unit features a closed water circuit with an axial turbine, a centrifugal pump and a water tank. 

Turbine (stator & rotor) are mounted inside housing/ case and can be housing.

Defined load/specific load generated through eddy current brake, specific load device is provided outside case/ housing.  

Valve provides to regulative flow, at turbine inlet pressure sensor provided.

Speed and torque measured with help of optical speed sensor and electronic force sensors respectively. 

With orifice plate with differential pressure measurement flow rate determined and evaluated. 

All measurement devices are suitable mounted and preceded inside case with supported software conceded to computer unit to have desire requirements. Suitable software for data acquisition and computer with window provided.

• Turbine rating -130-135 w at 3500 to 3600 RPM of rotor.
  
• Outer diameter- approx 50  55 mm pump.
  
• Approximately over- 1 kg. 
  
• flow rate- 375 L-380 L/14 mm to 15 mm
  
• Power consumption -220 v -50 Hz.
