Any catalytic liquid-liquid orliquid-gas reaction involving the use of a catalyst placed in basket can bestudies in this set-up.
Kinetic parameter of a specificreaction can be estimated & parametric studies can be conducted.
The set-up consists of a reactorcentrally having one spinning basket derived through a variable speed motor.The metered flow of reactant from feed tank is fed to the reactor at thebottom.
The set-up can be used as batch wiseof as continuous type. Sampling points are provided for analysis. Portconnection for gas inlet is provided at the bottom of the reactor
