This universal governor apparatusoffered by us is commonly used for studying the working of different governorsthat normally.

The set-up is designed to study theworking of different governors normally used to control the speed. It consistsof a main spindle, mounted vertically on the base plate.

This spindle is driven by a variablespeed Motor which is also mounted vertically on the same base plate. Anyonegovernor assembly out of four can be mounted on spindle. Speed control unitcontrols the spindle speed. A graduated scale is fitted to the sleeve tomeasure the displacement.
