VAPOUR ABSORPTION CYCLE TRAINER

The Vapor Absorption RefrigerationTrainer is designed to demonstrate the working of Aqua-Ammonia Vapor AbsorptionRefrigeration Cycle & evaluate its performance.

The trainer uses packagedrefrigerator having electrically heated Generator, Absorber, Condenser,Evaporator mounted in an insulated cabinet where refrigeration load can beapplied.

The refrigerator uses the mixture ofWater & Ammonia as the refrigerant. Due to an absence of mechanicalcompressor, the refrigerator is quite in operation.

Instruments to measure Temperaturesat different points, Power Consumption, Heater Load are fitted on Instrumentpanel.

EXPERIMENTAL CAPABILITIES:

To identify components of VaporAbsorption Refrigeration System.

To plot the vapor absorption cycle onP-h Chart.

To calculate COP of Vapor AbsorptionRefrigeration Cycle.
