About Motor Driven Disintegrator
Motor Driven Disintegrator
Specifications of Motor Driven Disintegrator
Laboratory Size, hammer type with H.P. heavy duty motor (single phase) 220 volts, 50C/s A.C. consisting of four steel hammers fixed to a disc of 3" in dia 1" thick through which passes a shaft being revolved at 3000 RPM. The hammers are enclosed in a C.I. drum, the sides and upper surface of which are roughened in a C.I. drum, the sides and upper surface of which are roughned. The inner surface is undulating. The lower part of drum is made of chrome plated brass and is detachable so that SS sieves of different mesh size (a set of three sieves of coarse, medium & fine) supplied with the instrument can be easily placed. Hopper is made of die casted aluminium, built on angle iron frame of size 24" x 14" x 20" high.
Robust Construction for Demanding ApplicationsManufactured with a mild steel body and cast iron fittings, the Motor Driven Disintegrator withstands continuous usage, ensuring long-term reliability. The sturdy industrial gray/silver finish not only imparts a professional appearance but also contributes to its durability in laboratory and industrial environments.
Precision Grinding with Interchangeable MeshCustomize the particle size according to your requirements with easily interchangeable screensstarting from 0.25 mm. The dual-chamber design enables both coarse and fine grinding, offering precise control for diverse sample preparation and research needs, thus optimizing accuracy and repeatability.
Safe and Efficient OperationEquipped with a safety cover and overload protection system, the disintegrator offers safe usage during operation. The direct coupled motor delivers consistent grinding power, while the manual hopper feed and bottom outlet with collection tray streamline the process, providing both efficiency and user protection.
FAQs of Motor Driven Disintegrator:
Q: How does the Motor Driven Disintegrator process dry materials?
A: Dry materials are manually fed into the hopper, where hardened steel blades inside the twin chambers (coarse and fine) rapidly disintegrate, grind, or pulverize them. The process is powered by a direct coupled motor operating at around 3000 RPM, and the final product is collected via the bottom discharge outlet.
Q: What materials can be disintegrated using this machine?
A: This disintegrator is suitable for a wide range of dry materials, including chemicals, pharmaceuticals, ores, granules, and similar solid samples. It is widely used in laboratories, industrial processing, and research facilities for sample preparation and material analysis.
Q: When is it appropriate to use the interchangeable mesh or screen?
A: Interchangeable mesh or screens should be used when varying particle sizes are required for different applications. Screens starting from 0.25 mm and above can be selected and installed based on the desired level of fineness or coarseness for your process.
Q: Where can the Motor Driven Disintegrator be installed?
A: The device is primarily designed for laboratory benches, industrial workspaces, and research establishments where dry material disintegration is essential. It should be installed where there is access to suitable electrical power (220V, 380V, or 415V, depending on model) and a dry operating environment.
Q: What are the main benefits of using this disintegrator?
A: Users benefit from its efficient crushing, continuous operability, easy adjustment of particle size, robust construction, and built-in safety features. These attributes make it a highly reliable instrument for achieving consistent and accurate results in sample processing.
Q: How is user safety ensured during operation?
A: Safety is prioritized through a protective cover and overload protection system that prevent accidental contact and motor damage during operation. Adhering to recommended usage and environmental guidelines further enhances safe handling.
