Description
The setup consists of a Reactor inwhich solid cylinder of Benzoic Acid is placed and water is stirred by means ofa variable speed mixer. Baffles are also provided. The Reactor is made ofStainless Steel.
A Peltilizer is provided to make thesolid cylinder of size 1" diameter and 2" height of Benzoic Acid.
Experimentation/Learning Objectives
To study the Kinetics of dissolutionof Benzoic Acid.
Utilities Required
Electricity Supply: Single Phase, 220V AC, 50 Hz, 5-15 Amp combined socket with earth connection. Earth voltageshould be less than 5 volts.
Water Supply.
Floor Drain.
Floor Area Required: 1.0 m x 0.5 m.
Instruments, Laboratory Glassware andChemicals required for analysis as per the system adopted.
