FULLY AUTOMATED SOLVENT EXTRACTION UNIT USING SOXHLET METHOD

The System traditional Soxhlet extraction, automated version of the traditional method of reducing the time required for one-fifth. The system consists of an extraction unit and a control unit. The sample to be analyzed is weighed and placed in the thimble of the apparatus. The organic solvent enters the extraction cups through a closed system. The plates are electrically heated. The four-step process: boiling, is solvent recovery and pre drying steps.The implementation of the system is flexible and suitable for a wide range of applications inthe food, feed, environmental protection and industrial segments. Design allows the use of any organic solvent. Solvent recovery of 90%, only 16 ml of solvent is used per sample.Sample preparation for GC / HPLC analysis should also be suitable. The reproducibility of the measurements is the same as the traditional technique (1% relative or better).
