The apparatus consists of a pipe linecontains one Veturimeter. Veturimeter is made from clear Acrylic. The pressuretapings from the Veturimeter is taken to differential manometer to measurepressure difference. A valve is provided at the downstream side of Veturimeter.

The flow can be regulated by thisvalve.

Present set-up is self-containedwater re-circulating unit, provided with a sump tank and a centrifugal pumpetc.

Flow control valve and by-pass valveare fitted in water line to conduct the experiment on different flow rates.

Flow rate of water is measured withthe help of measuring tank and stop watch.
