Sturdy Construction for Reliable Aggregate Testing
Manufactured with a mild steel body and a heavy-duty drum, the Devel Attrition Tester guarantees longevity and operational durability.
The powder-coated finish resists corrosion, making it ideal for rigorous laboratory use in aggregate assessment.
Precise, User-Friendly Operation
Equipped with digital controls, a timer (0-99 minutes), and a digital counter, this tester simplifies aggregate attrition measurement. Automatic cut-off functionality enhances safety and repeatability for consistent, trustworthy results every test cycle.
Compliant with International Standards
This tester meets IS: 2386 (Part IV) 1963 standards for aggregate testing, ensuring your procedures align with recognized benchmarks.
Its accuracy and process reliability make it suitable for exporters, manufacturers, and suppliers executing laboratory-based aggregate quality analyses.
FAQs of Devel Attrition Tester:
Q: How does the Devel Attrition Tester operate during aggregate testing?
A: The tester rotates aggregates in a heavy-duty steel drum at a controlled speed (3033 RPM) for up to 99 minutes, measuring attrition value accurately with a digital counter and automatic cut-off once the set test duration completes.
Q: What is the maximum sample capacity the tester can handle per test cycle?
A: The device is capable of testing up to 5 kilograms of aggregate per cycle, providing sufficient capacity for reliable laboratory analysis.
Q: When should I use the Devel Attrition Tester in laboratory procedures?
A: Use this attrition tester when determining the durability and resistance of aggregates to wear as required in IS: 2386 (Part IV) 1963 compliant quality control or comparative research protocols.
Q: Where is the equipment most effectively applied?
A: Primarily intended for laboratory settings, the device is widely used in construction material testing, academic research, and quality assurance departments by exporters, manufacturers, and suppliers.
Q: What is the process for obtaining accurate aggregate attrition values?
A: Load aggregates into the drum, set the desired duration on the digital timer, and start the device. It will rotate the drum, and the digital counter will display results at the end of the cycle, with automatic cut-off ensuring precise measurement.
Q: What are the key benefits of using the DEV-ATT-01 Attrition Tester?
A: The tester offers robust construction, reliable performance, accurate digital measurements (+/-1%), automatic operation for user safety, and compliance with standardized testing practices, ensuring precise and repeatable results.
Q: How does the automatic cut-off enhance testing safety and efficiency?
A: Automatic cut-off stops the equipment upon completion of the preset timer, preventing over-testing, facilitating consistent results, and minimizing user intervention during operation.
