About Bio safety cabinet class II A2
Bio Safe Biological Safety CabinetETC-74A2These Class I safety cabinet provide protection for the operator and the environment, with inward airflow away from the operator. Air is filtered before release to the atmosphere.
Negative pressure is maintained within the cabinet, which is suitable for work where no product protection is required.
These cabinets are self contained 100% exhaust containment enclosures. Air from the work zone passes through a two-stage, high efficiency filter system before being exhausted to the room/atmosphere. These cabinets may be installed on standard laboratory benches or on optional support stands.
Personnel and environment protection is provided by inward flow of room air at the work area and high-efficiency particulate air (HEPA) filtration of exhaust air. The inward airflow sweeps aerosols generated during the work process away from the operator into the filter system. A pre-filter protects the HEPA filter from large particles, and the HEPA filter removes particulate contaminates down to sub-micron size from the exhaust air.
Supplied complete as above, with cord and plug, suitable to work on 220V single phase, 50Hz, AC supply.
Material - Inner SS and outer SS, Inner SS and outer MS
Available in following sizes :- Work area 3x2x2
Advanced Airflow and FiltrationWith 70% recirculation and 30% exhaust, the cabinet maintains optimal contamination control. High-efficiency primary and HEPA filters capture airborne particles down to 0.3 microns, ensuring the workspace remains sterile.
Enhanced User SafetyThe sliding toughened glass front window, airflow deviation alarms, and filter life indicators provide robust safety measures. The digital control panel allows for precise monitoring while transparent side panels offer clarity without sacrificing containment.
Versatile and User-FriendlyEngineered for flexibility, the unit supports both automatic and manual operations. Inbuilt sockets allow powering of laboratory devices, while stainless steel work surfaces deliver durability. Suitable for one to three users, it accommodates various laboratory settings with ease.
FAQs of Bio safety cabinet class II A2:
Q: How does the Bio Safety Cabinet Class II A2 maintain a clean air environment during operation?
A: The cabinet uses a 70% recirculated and 30% exhausted airflow pattern, combined with high-efficiency HEPA and primary filters, to continuously trap particulates as small as 0.3 microns, providing a safe, contaminant-free workspace.
Q: What features ensure user safety in this biosafety cabinet?
A: Safety is ensured by airflow deviation alarms, filter life indicators, a sliding toughened glass front window, transparent acrylic/polycarbonate side panels, and a digital control panel for real-time monitoring.
Q: When should the filters be replaced in the Bio Safety Cabinet Class II A2?
A: Filters should be replaced whenever the filter life alarm is triggered or when routine maintenance indicates a decrease in airflow efficiency. Regular inspections are recommended to maintain optimal performance.
Q: Where can this bio safety cabinet be used?
A: It is ideal for laboratories, research centers, and medical facilities across India that require sterile environments and protection for personnel and sensitive operations.
Q: What is the process for operating the cabinet?
A: Users start by closing the sliding glass window and powering on the cabinet via the digital control panel. The airflow, filters, and lighting are automatically regulated, with manual override options for specific procedures.
Q: How is the cabinet beneficial to clean air systems in laboratory settings?
A: By providing superior filtration and consistent airflow, the cabinet protects users and samples from contamination, increases operational safety, and supports regulatory compliance for clean air environments.
